Following yesterday’s post about waxing after laser/IPL treatment of hair, one of my colleagues, Claire Louise, came up with an excellent idea.
She doesn’t offer waxing and didn’t like the idea of having to learn a new treatment which didn’t fit with her laser clinic. So she said that, instead of a full waxing, we could offer clients a waxing strip and ask them to wax themselves in just one smallish area, a week or two after the laser/IPL treatment (when there are hairs to wax!).
Being a blokey bloke, I wasn’t aware of such things! I didn’t know that waxing strips even existed…
But I immediately realised that her idea was excellent!! The clients only need to see one area of newly growing anagen hairs – not the whole area. Then they will know that a follow-up treatment would be useful (once a decent number of hairs are visible in the waxed area).
So there you go – two great ideas in two days!!
Fantastic…
I’ve added a nice photo of a strawberry cake, because it looks bloody marvellous.
Hope this helps,
Mike.
