Two new videos – “Chasing the crack” and “Skin tones and fluence”

I was bored today, so I thought I’d make a couple of wee videos.

The first one is about why we must apply our lasers at the skin surface properly, particularly with tattoo lasers. We DO NOT want to hear the ‘cracking; sound – that is completely wrong.

The second video is about the relationship between skin tone (colour) and fluence in the skin. This is important because many people appear to think about this the wrong way. In it I discuss how we should be applying higher fluences to darker skin tones – to ensure a successful outcome.

But, this MUST be properly mitigated with good skin surface cooling.

Soon, I will post up another video about the most efficient way to cool the skin.
