Fluence is probably the most critical factor when trying to destroy hair follicles or blood vessels. The depth of penetration of the killing zone depends on both the wavelength and also on the fluence.
The higher the fluence you apply at the surface, the deeper the effect, and therefore the greater the number of hair follicles you can kill. Ultimately, this has a direct link to the total number of treatment sessions your client may require. So, if you set the fluence correctly at the start of your treatment sessions, then you will reduce the total number of sessions needed.
In this video, I show why a high fluence is needed to kill more follicles.
Hopefully, this will help you to achieve a better rate of success in your hair removal treatments.
That’s all for now,
Mike.
