Just to let you all know, I’m also an LPA and a committee member of the Association of Laser Safety Professionals (UK). This means I can come to your place and check your laser safety situation, recommend any changes or additions you may need and advise on the legal and Health & Safety side of things too (for a small fee!!).
One of the main guides which we follow is the MHRA Guidance document, which outlines all of the relevant guidelines which we must follow to ensure safe use of lasers, IPLs and LED systems in clinical settings.
Remember, compliance with the law is not a choice – you must ensure the safety of both your patients and staff!
