I recently published an article in the Aesthetics magazine (Volume 7, Issue 3, Feb 2020) showing my results with a new masking technique in the treatment of angiomas and benign pigmented lesions – click here for my article.
In it I show how higher fluences and longer pulsewidths may be used to treat small vascular and pigmented targets on the skin while minimising the potential thermal damage to surrounding skin (see above).
It’s a very simple and low cost method using wooden spatulas, which are in common use around the world.
Give it a try and let know how it works out for you.
Mike.
Brilliant idea. Palomar used to make sheets of white sticky paper with a hole in it the I still use.

As usual, Mike comes up with simple yet elegant solutions. Congrats.
